If youve got qf rewards, don't believe you can see points tally (only shown on statement), but I believe it's possible with amplify rewards (but waiting for my program to switch to check)I just got this card last week. Done some spending on the card.
Question is... how do I see the points tally? Cannot seem to see anything when logged into the st george internet banking site

Nope. Churn and burn. Too many other good offers out there with large sign on bonuses to miss out on.Are there any benefits keeping this card after the bonus points have posted, apart from birthday bonus which not worth it if only done near the eligible spend.
Just wondered if missing something that it's good for ?

Just wanted to confirm that dragons advice to me was correct - further, received card in mid-april and bonus points posted nowActually this is not technically quite correct, from what I understand from talking to Dragon the other day. As soon as the points are registered against your credit card (which you can find out by calling their rewards dept), you can transfer reward programs, and your points will still post in your QF account at the time of the next statement
I cannot recall any card which permitted the annual fee to apply to the required spend.Hi all. I opened my card in Oct 2018. I reached 4K spend by Dec 2018. Since April 2019 I have been chasing the bonus points, calling the rewards team each week and being told “it’s being investigated but you reached the spend limit”. Call today and get told that due to a refund on my account, I am below the 4K threshold. However by my calculations of debits and credits I was still over. Going through line by line, I did notice the annual card fee and I am wondering if they have excluded this. If I don’t include the $179 fee and taking into account the refund, my spend was only $3,900. I have raised a complaint with St George itself to check which transactions were eligible, but have I screwed myself with this one? Annoying things is, during the qualifying period I tired to spend over $3k on hotel bill in China and the St George refused to work and had to use my Westpac. If they had gone through I would have been set. Do I have any hope for this, any leniency from St George side that others have found?

Good luck and thanks for the updates. Was thinking about this card and the recordings of experiences like yours are giving me 2nd thoughts. They have admitted the time frame problem and referred this to their own complaints Dept - apparently I will get a call in a matter of days so will update with results of that phone call. I don't really want to go down the AFCA route until they formally deny the request.
Wow thats a painful process you've been through. Although as mentioned in other threads, it usually is the card approval date which starts the clock ticking, although in your case the delay from approval to receiving your card is ridiculous.Still chasing my 80K QFF points - achieved the $4K spend around the 29th April - regular monthly QFF points from normal spend have been arriving but not the 80K bonus yet, on the phone and have asked for points to be manually credited.
I had a very long period of time between card approval in Jan and actually receiving the card on 18th March (had to pick up in a branch) which was St Georges fault, but now St George are trying to claim that the date of card approval starts the clock ticking (and not the card issue date) for the min spend period for the bonus points. They are talking through to a manager now so this might be off to AFCA tomorrow if they try to deny the bonus points.
They sure make you work for your bonus points..... I also had to get the annual fee reversed a few weeks ago as they attempted to sneak that in as well.
