Yes . I believe so .Thanks. When subscribing through the app was all of the text during the payment etc in Spanish? I assume no way to change this to English. Just use Google translate I guess?
I think the easiest way to get a US checking account without flying there is via HSBC Premier if that's a possibility.Hi Everyone, I wonder if anyone has used amex checking statement as proof of address for chase application please. I still getting nowhere with chase, possibly due to no eligible proof of address, i have used amex credit card statement. Now I am trying to figure out which bank can I get a checking acc open without flying to US. Any advice would be appreciated, cheers.
Thanks, I might get a amex checking set up first.I think the easiest way to get a US checking account without flying there is via HSBC Premier if that's a possibility.
If you already have an ITIN, can open Amex checking account (I opened mine from AU after I got my ITIN).
I'm sorry, I don't have any Chase cards so can't provide a DP on Chase accepting it as proof of address - I would be interested in the answer.
Did you get approved for the Amex checking account straight away? Or they wanted a copy of your ITIN etc?I think the easiest way to get a US checking account without flying there is via HSBC Premier if that's a possibility.

Yes.Did you use the Citi biz card for this?
If you're instantly approved, generally yes. If you have to be approved after some intervention by an agent, it is less likely.I was wondering are AMEX business cards issued electronically immediately after being approved like my last personal Amex gold was?
Yes that's a recent change. I have an C1 account and tried with P2 but got the same messageJust received my ITIN and tried to open a cap1 360 checking account.
Got the following after entering my ITIN:
At this time, we can only open accounts for new customers with an ITIN in person. Find your nearest Capital One location.
Did anyone else come across this? People early in the thread opened the account pretty easily...
Damn, I want to diversify away from AMEX (and for future proof of address)Yes that's a recent change. I have an C1 account and tried with P2 but got the same message
Try capital one if you have an itin . Some other options have been mentioned upthread as well .Hi Everyone, I wonder if anyone has used amex checking statement as proof of address for chase application please. I hope you are aware that this card comes with a foreign transaction fee of 2.7%.Amex Blue Business Plus
Here are the details of the new, better offer:
I seen this targeted deal is available to me as a no lifetime language offer. It is appealing to me as it has no annual fee and spend requirement is reduced to 5k in 3 months. Also this wouldn't take up a 5/24 slot.
- Earn 50,000 Membership Rewards Points after spending $5,000 on your new Blue Business Plus Card within the first 3 months.
- No annual fee
I haven't had this card before so it would be my lifetime offer until another no lifetime offer comes along.. May be interesting to other people who have already had this card in the past.

I was not. Thanks for the advice.I hope you are aware that this card comes with a foreign transaction fee of 2.7%.
Still worth it for the bonus pointsI was not. Thanks for the advice.
US bank don't do ITIN online - only in branch.Damn, I want to diversify away from AMEX (and for future proof of address)
Is there any other checking accounts that can be opened online with ITIN other than amex?
I've tried US Bank which looks like they accept ITIN but it says my ITIN is invalid (could be its still too new).
It probably is especially as it doesn't count towards 5/24. It would be roughly 135 USD to make the 5k spend. There are probably better cards out there like citi strava or C1 venture (75k points for 4k spend) but they would take a 5/24 slot..Still worth it for the bonus points
