Strategy to obtain US Amex

Maybe 6 months in between each of 3 cards. I successfully applied for Aspire, Surpass and HH credit cards, starting from about 3 years ago. All done on-line. No phone calls. No ITIN at the time, although I’ve received one since then. No SSN. No business cards.
You had a very smooth start then compared to most of us,
How long it took you get ITIN through EIN Express ?
Was there process easy?if you could share your experience with them that would be really appreciated.
The process for ITIN is straightforward and easy

Ah ok - unless you have some info otherwise I'd say they almost definitely ignored the GT and went off your US credit history at 6 months, that's a good amt of time especially if they were AMEX's and it was all in-house.
Although, I only went via the GT route for applications, and never was able to access my FICO until applying for the 3rd card. Just posting about my experience, not knowing what did/didn’t happen behind the scenes.

What documents do we need for that?
Did you use US address or Aus address for the application.
Just need passport, sign a document and pay the fee.

They will send it off to IRS which takes minimum 7 wks to be processed.

If you get an agent to do it, they will do everything on their end anyways. So the address you put in doesn't matter.

I had a good experience with EIN Express for my ITIN by the way. Haven’t made contact with any of the others.

If I can confirm Maza, which looks to be a couple of weeks off, will probably be the best method I know of once you know the specific hoops to jump thru. I googled EIN-X, looks to be quite expensive? Maza will be about 15 USD all up

Yes EIN -E is quite expensive and would be around USD 427, I will check Maza before I apply, how was your experience with Maza ?
Thank you for share valuable information

There’s discounts around for EIN Express, but can't recall what I paid. Still, was probably $350 or less.

Also, they progressively discount so don’t sign up straight away, if interested.

I’ve done (I think) the maza hoops. Do I have to deposit anything to show earnings in US? Other than the $5 subscription (which seems to be collected via iTunes)

See my summary post before on requirements - if you don't follow them, it's quite onerous figuring out all the right steps. If you follow them, you won't have any trouble at all and it'll be very easy. Take it from my learnings haha.

You don't need to interact with the Maza platform other than submitting your ITIN application.

I don't actually have the ITIN yet but everything is submitted and in progress. I'd be very surprised if it failed from here in. Will report back when I get it.

Ok. Everything is ready for submission on Maza so hopefully have done everything

Edit; spent all day on this so hopefully can save someone some time. To apply successfully with Maza:

- iOS, could not get a US Google account to work despite using VPN and spoofing to try to change location, couldn't rip an APK easily and when I did, still didn't have a US google account to enable billing
- Need a US Apple ID (Change billing location)
- Need a US phone #
- Need to spoof GPS (Geoport was the best GPS spoofer) (the GPS section is very distinct, you don't need to spoof until it directly asks you to. Revoke the permission after that.)

I did also use a VPN set to the US, but nothing to me indicated this was a requirement.

After that, could submit application.
I am having some issues with Maza app. I used an old iphone and got Maza installed and was able to pay the subscription. It shows my payment and order number and has a slide bar at the bottom which says 'I verify this order'. But when I slide it it doesn't progress to the next page. Wondering if anyone else has encountered this?

Yes - I had this issue. I was using an iPhone virtually on browserstack remotely when this happened to me (drag to end and can't get it to activate). I switched to a physical iPhone 15, and the problem was fixed.

Interesting. My physical iPhone is an old iPhone 8 with a cracked screen. I think that is my issue. I was going to try and do it remotely but not sure it'll work based on your experience..

You need a US Apple ID to progress and verify the subscription
