Strategy to obtain US Amex

I'm still bit unclear on HSBC US CC, I don't have any credit history (still building) nor an ITIN/SSN. I opened a premier account with them few months ago.
Do they not ask for income/resident/address proof for US CC applications? Did you go via your AU RM or do you also have a US based RM that helped ya?

Go via US RM . My experience : 2 cards Opened at the same time .checking account .
No proof of income asked . Even used oz card address for card dispatch .

Only Equifax will accept an ITIN. I think in this case it'll just be a gamble. There is no consistent way to getting an Experian report. Some have mentioned myFICO but that seems haphazard and caused some issues for my report in general.

I would apply and see how you go.

Just registered on myfico. Only shows EQ on free plan which is also available through core credit . Am I missing something ?

Has anyone here tried applying for the curve card ? I believe it would offer a better Fx rate .

MyFico should be Experian not EQ? That's what it says on it's website.

No . Portal provides all 3 CRA for paid memberships . But only EQ for free plan .

Ah I didn't know there was a free plan with MyFico! Good to know. I just use the Equifax website for their core product.

I think my ITIN is still new. MyFico could not verify my identity. Told to give them a call.
I will try again next year lol

Give them a call . I called today and they asked me a few questions and then activated .

Yeah was pretty much instant rejection, not even a 7-10 day message.

Haven’t tried calling them yet due to instant rejection, might try perhaps. Perhaps they couldn’t find any history.

Yup, put the address under " Mailing Address".

surprise, surprise - I don't have a US RM assigned to my account. Spoke to them and was told since I applied for my account online no RM was assigned. asked me to call them back on Monday to speak to Premier RM team.

Thanks I will. Perhaps I should sort out what my credit reports look like first? I’ve got no clue what shape they’re in or if they even exist, tried signing up to EQ and EX but getting errors.
