Strategy to obtain US Amex

Not sure the benefits are great - but some of you might be interested in this : Virgin Red | Virgin
VS frequent flyer program? It's a lot more useful not it's joined SkyTeam; I've got around 14,000 points that have gradually accumulated over years, one day I'll use them. I used to dump them into Hilton every 10k when it was 1:2, and even that wasn't a great use, but it's now 2:3 which is awful value.

I did recently purchase a £5 Virgin Train ticket for the 1,000 points/£5 discount on trains (took the 1,000 points of course), because that's a pretty good purchase price.

Has anyone signed up with MAZA recently ?
I’ve tried just now (US iTunes account, Maza app), US location VPN, and after tapping ‘New Account’, it asks for my US phone number.

After inputting this, it says (in Spanish) ‘we are not accepting new subscriptions at this time’

From
Strategy to obtain US Amex I assumed this was not the distinct part that requires GPS spoofing so I haven’t set that up yet (most of the apps appear a bit dodgy !)

Have they perhaps been Ozbargained/AFFed ?!

Applied for a HSBC US Premier account through AU relationship. Super simple, applied online and got an email back from HSBC within 2-3 days. They asked for a recent AU Premier statement and next day account was granted. Is there any benefits to the HSBC US Premier account aside from the address? Also applied for an ITIN through SHStudios on Fiverr...sittng tight for that now
Just wondering how long a premier customer before asking asking to get US Premier account - i only applied for AU today but rep said may need to wait 6 months before getting US account

I applied as soon as I became Premier (6 months after opening the Aus account).
Applied via us.hsbc.com, as I was never able to speak to anyone on their 'Premier' phone number despite 30 min on holds...

No I think Maza is shutting down. It doesnt say that on public websites anywhere but Inhave some vague warnings in my app.

They have assured me I will still get my ITIN, so lets see...

Just putting a DP here re US HSBC accounts and address changes...

I updated my address via US HSBC IB to my US address. This has triggered a W-8BEN form being sent to me, which I think is just to ensure that I am not a US resident for tax purposes...
Was this an email or paper mail

Edit. I got this too. Lets see what happens...
