Yes still at currency rate
Yes . But Dependent on forex rateIs it worth transferring? I have about 150k AU MR currently split between Ascent Premium and Ascent
Yes .Do they still transfer at the same as USD:AUD?
I usually wait for a transfer bonus to Singapore, Avios or Virgin Aus
Advisable to get a free MR card in US that way you can keep it forever ( your oldest card for CR ) and use it for warehousing irrespective of what other cards you’re open and close .Thanks both. Only have Hilton card so far so will wait til I get the gold to transfer
Transferring between US and AU is possible and vice versa. I was told by AMEX Aus that next time I want to transfer, call the side you're transferring FROM first (it doesn't really matter too much, but apparently easier for the other party to track). Takes a few days and will be converted at the market rate for AUD/USD at that point. Note AMEX is a payment processor so they handle their inhouse FOREX, they use to have a calculator on the AU website but appears to no longer have it usableI’ll tell you in a few weeks! Just approved for US personal this morning from Aus Biz via GT.
Nothing I have read tells me that it’s not possible to transfer the MR points and they are the same type of 'Point' as earned on the personal cards
Not sure about between AU accounts, only have business ones setup
