If you can’t get passed itin- put passport number followed by two zeros. It’ll fail but tell them when you phone that you don’t have your itin yet

Saw upthread someone mentioned sign up for 3 bureau report with equifax and I can't believe it worked. I didn't work last time.

Edit: lol I got the cancellation email 10 mins after.

Used GT again. (My first card was not approved straight away, I had to call them and confirm some information eg. address), This time was approved straight away.
It's a Marriott card, I have a few trips planned, status benefit helps.
Do have a signup bonus, not on the high side, but I don't have time to wait for a better bonus.

I have another question about submitting my ITIN to HSBC.

The agent has forwarded me a W-8BEN form to complete and sign to link my ITIN to my HSBC account. Doing so would confirm several things to them in writing:
1) That I am a non-resident
2) The reason why I have a US mailing address (mail forwarder)

Additionally, since I have my US address set as my permanent residence address in my HSBC account, it would conflict with the information in the form that has my Aussie address.

So I wonder if it's smart to complete and sign this form and return it to HSBC or if this could cause problems down the road?

Have you just submitted your Australian tax return ? Would that lead to any issues (eg requests for proof of US employment if you’re saying you’ve just moved)
