Is there any issue with the Amex application status page when accessing from Aus?
I've tried it a few times over days but the page always comes back with
"Our systems are currently updating;please check back on this site in 24 hours. Sometimes, clicking on one of the navigational links can resolve the problem. If this doesnt work, please try again later. Or, if you would prefer immediate assistance, you can call us at 1-866-314-0237 (Mon-Fri 6am-8pm MST)."
