Strategy to obtain US Amex

Question please 🙏 I still don't understand how everyone has multiple Biz Gold or Biz Platinum. Are you applying again after certain time frames or are you being targeted with emails or letters from Amex? Or are you hunting for NLL links from online?
Got MY Biz Gold Oct 2024, Biz Platinum Dec 2024. Should I apply for another Biz Gold now or hunting for a good offer Biz Blue Plus 75K?
You can apply for a new charge card (ie ABG and ABP) every 90 days. I currently have 6x ABP and 1x ABG (I had a couple of upgrade offers hence the ABP)

Dawn. Long wait time for meeting. Calendar to make an appointment doesn't show availability so I'm just clicking on every date LOL.

Might need to sit in queue for a few hundred hours.

Edit: waited only like 20 minutes. TBH a scary process (I'm not cut out for this) but a helpful notary and I think it's all good now?
All done with Amex. They said they would send two confirmation emails about replacement card, but hasn't come through.

Not in a rush, just wondering - is this a cause for concern that no confirmation email was received?

There are various ways to get a SUB for the same card over and over again. Some involve finding links that bypass pop-up jail (they used to be called NLL, but that terminology is no longer accurate — they don't actually contain NLL). Others involve methods of circumventing it — some more well known in the churning community than others.

In Dec, I followed FM post and connected my VPN to Denver - incognito mode to follow a link and got 250K for Biz Platinum.
Today on Travel On Points post - the advice when apply for cards is NOT to log in to VPN because apparently Banks are sensitive to VPN and tends to decline the applications.

Lost in how I would move forward with my next application.

Also, not sure what mistake I had for P2 but P2's application since May (1st GT) last year - none of them got auto approved. All asked for Tax form which cant provide.

Also, FYI, anyone interested - Danny the Deal Guru has a link to Biz Blue Plus 75K - Which I am looking at but not yet taken action.
Also, if anyone is interested they have a link for Amex Brilliant 150K Bonvoy points and $250 cashback. I've been in PUJ for Marriott cards but was able to bypass it.
I was approved with a minor hiccup, I was denied first as I already had 5 lending cards at the time of the application. Cancelled my Bonvoy Biz and was approved for Brilliant couple of hours later.

I think i tried that and it didn’t work….

This is what I get : This offer is no longer available. If you'd still like to apply for a Business Card from American Express click here.

If i go incognito i get to a page which forces me to log in for a shorter application form. And when i do i then get the above error

If anyone knows a way round this that would be great

Can I have the link please? That would be good deal

GTed 1st card July last year, called them asking to send replacement card to AU address.
got my 2nd card approved now, should I call again to send replacement to AU? would this raise questions?

My experience having just had a card sent was that Amex doesn't seem to care. Once they verified my ID they were happy to send to whatever address.

When you got your first replacement card, do you recall how long until / if you received a confirmation/etc email?

here you go -
This seems like a good deal. $250 refund (statement credit), $300 back on restaurants (25usd per month) assuming it is global restaurants and there is no minimum transaction amount?, 1 free night, platinum elite status, 150k points. Easily offsets the $650 fee in the first year? Does anyone have any DP's on getting upgrades to suites using the platinum elite status?

I think the common wisdom for Marriott/Hilton is
- in USA - 0 upgrades
- not in USA - reasonable chance of upgrade
- Upgrade to suites - 1 night stays, off-peak, etc all help

Individual hotels may have different policies. For example, Conrad Bangkok (Hilton) is known for never upgrading to suites ever, no matter what. There are also some Marriott hotels in SEA + Japan posting signs at check in allegedly showing how many elite guests are staying, with some signs being ridiculous like 79 titanium + 200 platinum + 12 golds + 1 silver. Who knows if these numbers are legit, but basically very little chance of a suite upgrade at these hotels.

Marriott platinum doesn't have free breakfast at all brands (but it does for most)

The FNC for the Bonvoy Brilliant is up to 85k (+top up), which may eliminate some ultra-high-end properties. That being said not a bad offer at all.

I’m gold elite and have been for several years. It’s not a good status level and received next to no benefit. Word is platinum isn’t much better and titanium is the level you need to really see any real benefit

So this deal states you get 25 elite night credits within 60 days of opening. If the card automatically gives your plat elite status (50 stays) would the extra 25 not move you up into Titanium Elite status (75 stays)?

Edit: I just read about this on reddit and no you dont get titanium status automatically. You'd still need 50 stays on top of the gifted 25.
