Strategy to obtain US Amex

The Deal

  • Chase is offering the following bonuses after opening a new business checking account and making qualified total deposits of:
    • $300 after $2,000 in total deposits
    • $500 after $10,000 in deposits
  • Money must be deposited within 30 days of enrollment and remain in account until 60 days after enrollment
  • Offer Expires: 4/17/25

I’m already at 4/24 so need to go Ink route first. Which would you recommend? And how many before I fill slot 5 with CSP (likely) or CSR
Ink Business Preferred makes the most sense, it's the only one without the 3% foreign transaction fee and the highest bonus. Otherwise the Ink Business Cash if you can maximize the 5x categories like office supply stores.

I can send a referral if you need.

Thanks. And hold that thought. Need to finish my ABG spend and then I plan to do ABP before the Ink BP. But I shall reach out at that time (August I predict)

Ah ok. Thats easy then. If you were able to get in it would just have the link. Upload your passport and bank statement here with the ref number and you should be right : https://docuploadonline.americanexp...owId=authentication_US&_flowExecutionKey=e3s1
so i tried the link, looks like nothing more is required, hopefully similar experience to kpc and we are approved without need to provide any docs.

Can’t use this website with itin
Only one that works with ITIN is equifax and myfico - saying that I have e created account but still can’t get report from them

I have got reports by writing in and asking for them

Keen to know as well, as I can't seem to signup for a Equifax account at all - just errors out once I put my info in.

The only method that I’ve found is to send by snail mail. I have been delaying due to this. I guess I need to just bite the bullet and write to them. 🤷‍♂️

If you try to sign up to myfico.com you will almost certainly get an error - you get a number to call - I found them very helpful - they were able to tell me that they were able to download data from TU and Experian but the equifax was the issue - didn’t help me solve my equifax issue but you might be able to narrow it down for you

No, they need to be able to access all three to create an account - what I got from it was that my files from TU and Exper were all legit - the equifax file has an address issue that is preventing them from being able to access it - I called equifax and have spent lots of time trying to get them to fix it and to write letters but ultimately equifax wants a US ID to be able to fix it

TLDR - no - can’t just get file from 2 of them - TU and Experien don’t allow you to directly access via ITIN

Do you think Equifax may have the address your ITIN was sent to? In my case - its Maza’s

On my Equifax (I am able to create an account but there is no score, none of my cards are listed) I can see they have a USGlobal Mail address - CA- I used as a trial -this is what I have been trying to correct to list my current address but with no success.

I have just reactivated the mailbox and made that my mailing address in an attempt to see if that will “correct” itself. Need to wait for Amex to report the next months statements to see if that changes anything

I have a home address as a friend’s apartment in NY and my mailing address as US Global in CA.
