Just was curious - when I went to website I see
1 AUD = 0.5780 USD
1 AUD = 0.5780 USD
Thank you. Might do a few 3-5k transactions once the dust settles with the aud usd exchange rate!Still new and my limited experience - I have a 19 month history and got a ABG and ABP in last 3 months - my family are paying some ATO bills to help me get a SUB and my initial payments of Gold were in chunks of 2-5K. My ABP, family went a paid a super bill via SBClearing House of 8K US as first payment - was expecting issue but no problems so far.
Others may give you more informed advice
Hope you don't mind I posted mine too. Not trying to compete. Just hoping to see if I can ever earn any referrals as I have not got any earnings from referrals and Chase not approved me.Chase Sapphire Preferred 100k SUB is now available by referral, I have posted mine in the referral thread. It needs a $5000 minimum spend in 3 months, 4/24 maximum and you can't have earned this bonus in the last 48 months. Any questions please dm me.
Other than a hard pull, any downside to applying if you haven’t got the requisite 12+ months of credit history ?Chase Sapphire Preferred
Interested as MsP might apply with only 640 credit score.Other than a hard pull, any downside to applying if you haven’t got the requisite 12+ months of credit history ?
Does Chase blacklist you or similar for a period after a failed application ?
I never heard of Chase blacklisting anyone, they just deny you the new card if they don't like your credit score and other application details. I've seen people denied then they come back a few months later and are successful. Maybe they paid down other cards and reduced debt? Or their score went up. You do need a Fico score, not sure what the minimum Fico is though.Other than a hard pull, any downside to applying if you haven’t got the requisite 12+ months of credit history ?

I have a savings since 1987, an online "checking" which I use for payments and 2 credit cards with B of A. I have my US address Planet Express Torrance as main address and Aussie address as mailing. Just last month a renewed credit card showed up here about 3 weeks after it was posted in the US.For those who have BOA checking accounts, what addresses are in your account?
I just set one up and they insisted that my Australian address had to be the residential address and my US residential address had to be the mailing address.
However, I have a US mailing address (US Global Mail) I would have rather used.
I read it was 670.... You do need a Fico score, not sure what the minimum Fico is though.
Call them up and ask them. They might have the wrong liabilities in your application.I just receieved the rejection letter, with the reason
Excessive obligations to income and/or assets
Called them. I was rejected, called and they said sorry, got rejected because blah blah security issues blah blah and approved me.I thought I would apply for US HSBC Premier World MC 2 weeks ago, as I wait to build up my score.
Having Amex GT in Dec, I have AU HSBC premier status, thought it would help. I just receieved the rejection letter, with the reason
Excessive obligations to income and/or assets
They didn't ask for any wages verification, or assets, no correspondance at all. I'm just curious if people funded their US premier account first to be successful, or anything else. I only used it once to pay off the Amex, just been paying it directly from Wise since.
Did you have to supply a SSN or ITIN with your application?Called them. I was rejected, called and they said sorry, got rejected because blah blah security issues blah blah and approved me.
To those who have opened bank accounts in USA, did you all bring the original copy of the ITIN letter ? Or copies of it are accepted ? And also, did you all print out copies of utility bills, bank statements etc before flying to the US ?
