I used to like the Seahawks when they were in the AFC even though they were in the same division as my Broncos. Then when they switched to the NFC I still liked them - until they got good. Now I don't like them and I also don't like the Pats but when I have to choose from teams I don't have any reason to follow I usually choose the AFC team. As usual I'll be watching at the Beach Hotel in Byron with a bunch of travelling Americans and us few interested Aussies.

I have decided to watch for Seattle tomorrow as there's an Aussie on the 'Hawks team (Jesse Williams - He is in line for his second Superbowl ring, but has never played an NFL game after being on IR for each of the last two seasons.)

Glad you didn't - 'twas after 11pm in Melbourne when I watched the last of the recording.

I have been arguing with my cousin and his mates (who all live in Seattle) about the ridiculous pass call by the offensive co-ordinator on 2nd and goal to win the game. ML would have made it in in one of the 3 remaining downs. The off co-ord should be fired IMHO.

My cousin reckons it was just bad luck - i think he is kidding himself!

At least you got to watch the second half. Channel 7 in PER changed the broadcast from 7mate to vanilla channel 7 half way through and my DVR chose not to follow.

It was a great game, it looked like Brady was going to lose 3 SB's in a row to just incredibly lucky plays... Was sure it was over and done with when Seattle reached the 1 yard line, but yes while a running play would almost of certainly gotten in with two plays (probably not time for 3) that pass play would often have worked, would quite often have been broken up, and almost never intercepted, that interception was just amazing....

If it had been caught the place would go insane, if it was batted down or dropped they get to do a running play next, unfortunately for Seattle the least likely result happened...

But glad Tom got his 4 ring....

How boring was that ad. Bet everyone took the opportunity for a bathroom stop while that was airing. The 'music' was way too laid back
