Uncool!
Disappointing!
Disappointing!
Best twitter post:
BeauGiles: RT @kollektor: I tried to fly Virgin once. They said I was too drunk (true) and threw me off the flight. Now I'm "Gold"? Unlikely. << LOL
We've flown UA, QF, Jetstar, VA and DJ to the US and NZ several times and occasionally Virginblue to Qld. I was struggling to nearly get silver, and whammo - the anniversary came around and I went back to red. So this Gold is nice.
But what does it really mean? Apologies in advance for being ignorant.
Do I use the business lane for boarding Vaustralia to the US even on an economy fare?
Is it only useful for Virginblue flights, or do you get lounge access if flying Vaustralia, Pacificblue to NZ or to Samoa, Fiji etc as well.
Does VA have a lounge at LAX or do I get access to the Delta or whatever lounge at LAX?
Is there a lounge at Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington?
Is there a lounge in San Francisco if I fly Virgin America to/from LA in main cabin select: atm I have to fly first class to get free bags ... or fly Southwest on 16 legs over 24 months to get a free flight.
What's in the lounge? Drinks, nibbles, showers, lockers for your carry on?
I have to say this will probably sway me to not fly QF, AirNZ, UA, or Junkstar.
But imagine this, everyone catching DJ flight all cramp into the Lounge! There will be no food and booze left!
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
I was "very excited" to become a gold member ......
But imagine this, everyone catching DJ flight all cramp into the Lounge! There will be no food and booze left!
lol the website for velocity rewards is in total meltdown, it must have gone out to every member. how ridiculous
And now i'll start the conspiracy's. Think that this could just be a viral promotion to tell more people what Gold status offers customers?!
And how many VA flights a year to LA or NZ must I make to retain the gold?
