@DejaBrew When will you have to confirm the numbers to the restaurant?
Good question! Just had a look at Long Chim's booking engine and there's still plenty of availability for the 20th. At this stage, I'd be keen to lock in a booking by next Wednesday, November 6th. We have up until 24 hours prior to the booking to make changes without penalty, but it would be good to get on their books.

Ok folks, quick update for you all -:

At the time of writing, we're currently at 7 Platinums (likely 8), with a number of other Golds who are leaning Platinum. I'm thrilled with the response so far and really looking forward to the event!! For those who are leaning Platinum (or can't fully commit until closer to the date), please note that we can include you in the numbers and as long as you cancel at least 24 hours prior to the booking, there is no penalty.

Should we reach the magic number of 10+ Platinums, Long Chim would require that we take a set menu - either the Signature Maa Long Chim Set Menu ($99/person) or the Classic Maa Long Chim Set Menu ($79/person). Consequently, I would kindly ask those who are currently Platinum or Gold to take a look at the set menu options and advise your preference as -:
  • Signature menu
  • Classic menu
  • Either option
Note: For groups of 10+, the restaurant imposes a 10% service charge

Correction: As pointed out by @RooFlyer we can do a split booking and overcome those pesky group booking requirements/charges.
