A most inauspicious start. 30 mins to get checked in! No idea what the problem was.

Maybe you assisted with the agent's training in checking luggage for a CX-CX connections to the US.

I think I just got someone who had no idea.

At least 10 other parties checked in for business class in the time I was made to wait for them to correctly enter my details into the system.

And to top it off got involved in a 'group' swab. Took ages to get through as 1 person in the group triggered the device and they couldn't work out who!

The lounge looks quite civilised. It was a zoo when we were there on Wednesday afternoon.

Claims gate is open yet everyone is lined up. Cathay seems very poorly organised. Told to go to gate whilst in lounge. But they weren't ready for boarding.

Following along we did these flights in reverse a couple of years ago. Enjoyed the experience.

Arrived Hong Kong. 15 mins early. Now in The Wing. Forgot how massive Hong Kong airport is. Some how ended up on a train to get here. That has never happened before.
