Sydney First Lounge

A couple of years ago when I went through on Christmas Eve (or roughly then). There was a turkey dish and IIRC Christmas pudding on offer.

No such luck on Xmas Eve last year! :(

Last 2 visits to the First Lounge on Christmas Day have resulted in a very nice offering of Turkey, Cranberries and assorted veg.

For that matter, I have never left the First Lounge hungry...

Here are some pics of the menu from 2 weeks ago when there waiting for QF11 to LAX

Found a pic of the Turkey offering from Christmas Day 2009

It was FANTASTIC!!!

Sitting in here now.

Had a fantastic crab salad entree and equally fantastic sword fish, washed down with a few glasses of Riesling.

I have literally just seen the Sydney CBD and what's in front of it disappear before my eyes due to weather but this is one lounge where I wouldn't complain if the flight was delayed :)

Me too!! I could watch the AFL Grand Final (Replay) if the flight was delayed!:)

I had the sword fish yesterday, and although it was nice seemed a touch dry. But the side of seasonal greens was great as were the mini-rolls that were on the food serving area.

I liked the nuts they had available (pecans and almonds), the olives and of course the champers.

Another great visit.

Just had flight delayed by an hour - such a shame :D
