Sydney Hilton Points Bookings

Hi all,

After my trip to the US I have racked up a decent amount of Hilton points to stay for a few nights at the sydney hilton.

I was after a little luxury and R&R, but after searching all the way through to January next year it appears I am unable to book any rooms on points.

I think I recall someone saying they managed to get a room booked by calling Hilton directly - am I right or was I just dreaming what I want to hear?

Is it like this across most hiltons in Aus/NZ?


I guess if I can't book rooms I may as well see if I can convert the HH points to QF points...

Reports here on Flyertalk suggest there are some fairly big issues at the Hilton Sydney with booking award stay, all or most of which seem to have been resolved by phoning Hilton directly.
