I got some SMS reporting of proceedings yesterday, along with a request that I fly down stat.

Alas, was shopping at WOW with my son at the time and no chance of complying with that request.

Hope everybody enjoyed the food, convivial atmosphere and the poker. Onto next year.

Thanks for all coming. I was first out (!) with a heated battle on the final table between V8statesman, ozmille, ozmille+1 & Ian Thong with the winner being V8statesman.

Food for the day was compliments of a 1/2 rump and pork shoulder cooked in the webber, snags from the BBQ, a big pot of Kim's (now) Famous Chilli Beef - the numbe of American Hotdogs consumed was scary! A few salads and I think most people were more than feed!

Great to meet a couple of new comers, Ian Thong (sorry, unsure of your AFF avatar) and RIc, great to meet you both and hope to see you at some other events in the near future - maybe RIc should organize a fishing event and Ian a music event ;-)

My pool got a good workout, the 29 was just right
