Hmm. I got a double status credit offer as well.

I've pretty much given up on VA status and only earned 177 status credits since last February. My review date is next month. With this offer I could requalify for gold with another 112 SCs, but I don't really think it's worth it.

I assume VA still has soft landings? So, if I do nothing, I will still get silver next year?

Double points offer for me. Am about ~160 SC shy of Platinum needed in next 6 weeks, however, as per some other peoples views I am happy enough with Gold and don't feel the need to book anything extra to get to Platinum in that period.

My daughter who is silver and has flown quite a bit international and domestic this year got the double points offer.

After missing out on all the other 'targeted' VA emails over the past year or so I finally got the double SC offer...the day I returned from our trip to Europe, and right at the end of the December-January birthday apocalypse (6 of 9 family/wife/in-law birthdays in Dec/Jan) and christmas credit card killing season.

Sorry VA, I'll be lucky to eat in the promotional period let alone book more travel!! Or it could also be that even with double SC it's probably not worth the $$ to try and scrape Platinum this year considering I should have Gold lined up until 2020

After crunching the numbers, I couldn’t come up with a decent status run so will forget about trying to get to WP.

I got received DSC offered which was 2 days too late!!! I just booked three flights for the next two months. There goes 50 extra status points. However, this will be handy for me flying back to HK in June.

Got the double SC offer which was nice as I'll be pushing it to maintain Gold this year. Last year I only got there thanks to some Delta flights which gave me 50 SC per short flight (can't recall details). I don't have much planned this year so will struggle to book enough to get close. Can't go back to pleb status though!

Got the double points offer last week and had it go through to the page with T&C's stating October-November 2017. Shot an email to Velocity and they confirmed that the double points offer was still legit. Seems as though they didn't test their emails I guess. :/
Would have loved the double SC as I don't have a US trip till after my anniversary date
