Any reason for considering TG Royal Orchid Plus?
As far as I can tell, TG ROP status matches are rare if non-existant.
For status matching into *A, there are sometimes the very,
very rare occasions (there was one for LH last year).
UA offer "challenges", which will give you status on proviso that you can accumulate a certain number of status miles / sectors within a predetermined time limit (usually 3 months or so). These usually involve accumulating status on
their metal, i.e. UA operated flights. This is fairly new (revised, anyway) to the scene, so best to check up on UA about this. US may be similar in this regard, but in America sometimes it's always worth trying to write in about these things.
NZ may be more open to status matching, especially if you are a QF elite. Many members of AFF have had it easy matching to NZ*G and even NZ*GE just by writing a nice email to NZ. I do not think NZ are the best *A program (unless you fly NZ a lot, and/or you supplement your NZ account with a credit card) but if you want a match that is an option.
BD used to status match, but they have gradually got much stricter, and I highly doubt they will match you now they are in a little limbo situation right now.
I've summarised some of the *A FFP options in a post in this thread:

Generally, there are some easy *G options out there depending on your flying patterns, though you may need to grin-and-bear the first bit until you rack up *G for the first time.
