If you have made it this far..... it's the end of the photos.
My heart was just not in this exercise, and the 6 week holiday would be near the bottom of our list of "great trips"

We learnt that we do not travel well with others. My husband tore his achillies 6 days in, and spent 2 weeks on crutches. The large hire cars I pre-ordered (so we would all fit) both were not available when we came to collect, so the first 3 weeks in cramped sedans (Audi 4 & Mercedes).

This seemed to set the mood for the entire trip. This may be the reason it has taken me 14 months to "just get it done"

Next trip (apart from Cairns Gathering) is next year. Just the 2 of us. My time table. My choices for accommodation & food & tours.
