Decent selection - very tasty!

I found the BA meals and service surprisingly good on our recent flights (ATH-LHR-TXL).

Certainly a cut above anything on QF in J from on recent flights.

Excellent flight with a "captain of industry" on board. Special Services agent waiting for him at the aircraft door - but we managed to beat them thru C&I, baggage and finally the waiting limos ... it was a wonderful feeling . The SS agent escorted him the whole way.

No meat free Vego meals on offer? Jnr & I have IST-LHR on BA J in a couple of weeks. Jnr is vegetarian (no meat - eats fish & dairy etc.) but never wants me to put in a pre-flight request for Vegetarian meals, because she reckons the non meat meal from menu is usually better than what is served as a vegetarian meal.

Could be slim pickings. We were only given one menu ... didn't notice other meals or menus. Might be safer to pre-order....

I thought the service and meals were terrific, but the legroom for J was terrible. It is economy seating - was fine LHR- VCE. And Rome to LHR because they were hour flights and LHR-IST we had a 767 but coming back 4 hours in that sort of seating was just plain terrible! However I must be in a minority as there were over 30 people in J and obviously happy to pay J prices for economy seats with good food and service!

Agreed. Beyond CE, I've been a BA fan since 2005 - the food , service, people including flat (stable) J beds ... where QF are still selling rubbish angle and slope flat - what a sad joke!

CE cabin is ridicolously crammed. Thank god we don't live in Europe ... don't mention the lounges ;) I do like the arm room - our cabin was full.

OK - you convinced me :). Just booked for Hakkasan Mayfair for tomorrow night. Only booking we could get was at 22:30 - should be nice and hungry by then.

The pressure is on!

The next meal was a 2* in Mayfair .... Hakkasan was the winner. Enjoy!

Just noticed the time ... full marks!

We secured a table at 9.30pm on a Sunday evening - very popular!
