The BER debacle continues

Local press is reporting that the airport has abandoned plans to bring Terminal 5 (the old Schönefeld Airport) back into operation.
Most of the S-Bahn station platforms serving T5 are already neglected and overgrown. Likely they will be left that way.

Yes, that old S-train station where the bold headed neo-naz_s used to hang out back in the 90ies (that station used to be soooo scary, especially at night, I always hated it) is quickly returning to nature now. Will look better once it has been completely reclaimed by trees and bushes if you ask me.
