The most annoying thing is where they might have a small list by the glass. Say 5 whites. Three will be a SSB or some variant. Like seriously...3/5 are the same?!

Bistro Rex in Sydney reduced the BYO charge from $30 to $20 per bottle but unfortunately only offer BYO on Monday and Tuesday nights, however also during lunches Thursday to Sunday.

They also offer impeccable glassware and decanting

One reason that I like the Duke of Brunswick in ADL is that the price charged for wine, very good wine too, is most reasonable. Guess where I'm going this week.
There is another place where I hosted a few AFFers, told to bring all the wine you like, we're interested in the food. Corkage was $20 IIRC.

Maybe we can add restaurants where the markup is not excessive. Oushou Japanese in Brighton VIC is reasonable.

Porcine has been fantastic, BYO has gone up a little to $35 a bottle now.
Is that a recent change? I could have sworn that I have contacted them and asked them about BYO and was told under no circumstances it was possible.

We go to an excellent Chubby Cheeks eatery across the road (sort of) that allows BYO Tue-Thu and Sun. But I also BYO my own glasses there.

:)
