2019 Bay of Fires $28.17 @ Cellar One after $20 referral - thanks/credit to @Dudditz

Not that I've ever seen. I've only ever seen really overpriced growth Bordeaux. Got any examples of good white burg they carry? I'm always on the hunt.

for those who missed it at Carboot - Savaterre 2018 (GW97, NG95) $68.99 @ The Wine Collective (plus $9.95 delivery, less 8.8% Cashrewards and $20 voucher)
back in stock @ Carboot - 4 left:
$52.95 2pk @ Carboot using $50 voucher - now free pick-up in MEL/SYD or usual $12 delivery :)
considered to be if not at least as good as, then definitely better value than, Giaconda:

Also available at Virgin Wines for the same price after using AMEX 150/50 offer
Domaine Servin Chablis Premier Cru Montée de Tonnerre 2017 - VM(AG)93+, WA(WK)93, AM92/91-94, JS92, CellarTracker 91.9, Vivino 4.2 - $55.25 @ Virgin in 12pk before 10% off with SIGN10, 7% Cashrewards, AmEx offer - ends today

MdT is the best premier cru, better than some grand cru - it's considered one of the best value (sweet spot, outstanding) by Allan Meadows (Burghound) and I was trying to buy it last year when France-Soir sold out

2019 Joshua Cooper $52, 2018 Cobaw Ridge $48 (standard, not skin contact) @ Grape Belief

$32.40 @ Wine Experience in 6pk

All show as out of stock except the Moreau AC Chablis which is pretty meh.

Is this something you can only find in store and not online?

some still seem available for delivery or in-store at Dan's Cellar?

Not sure I would buy from these guys again, drop ship operation out of a Keynards warehouse. To be honest I could live with that, but when we went to pick up our click and collect today it was sitting outside on a metal rack (28 degree day).

Based on the photo they sent us for the click and collect it seems like it has been sitting there since Tuesday!

We contacted them for a replacement, no reponse yet and can't be sure how their bottles are normally stored.

That’s not good. Adding to my recent negative experience paying for an order to be collected in their Melbourne warehouse using the $50 voucher. The order was canceled claiming I already used referral once before (last year). The thing is I was only the person paying for the current order which was supposed to be picked up by someone else in a state I currently don’t even have access to. Tried to explain the situation via email but no reply and then magically the next day Melbourne pick for that specific wine (Savaterre Chardonnay) was removed as an option. Hmm... Now after reading your post I’m thinking it was actually a blessing in disguise!

You probably did dodge a bullet, if I were to buy from them I suspect I would just pay for shipping to avoid their dodgy storage of the wines or pick up as soon as it is ready. It was clearly just drop-shipped from Negociants, they just slapped a label ontop with their logo.

My biggest issue is that the orders (not just mine) were left out in the open (i.e. secured parking area at Keynards storage) - so it's literally just left to fare with outdoor temperatures. The box was pretty dusty and they sent us a photo on Tuesday showing the order was ready and on a metal rack, so it has presumably been sitting there for a while (if I had known it was just lying outside instead of in a temp controlled room, I would have picked it up that day).

To be fair, maybe the guys will respond over the weekend, but looking at how the operation is run I'm not overly hopeful.

sorry to hear :(

TWC have free delivery today in case you want to buy it from them - Savaterre 2018 $54.27 delivered in 2pk after 8.8% Cashrewards and $20 voucher - or others

perhaps ran out of stock there

sorry to hear :(

Appreciate the post though! Was worth a try given the pricing and lesson learnt for next time.

Probably isn't too bad if you get it shipped, as it should avoid the storage issue - the packing from negociants says not to post between 12 to 20c so ironic that these guys just leave it sitting outside.

I had the same experience when redeeming a referral. Order was cancelled by them and the code no longer worked. It was my first purchase and now I highly recommend avoiding this dodgy retailer.

wish i'd known about the closing down sale at the start of the year, when there were some damn cheap Bindi and Rockford Black Shiraz:
