The COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Australia has begun

What I'd really love as an extra to this is the simple stat of total Aus population % vaccinated 1st & 2nd dose.
I have seen it pop up in places recently, I note it's ~3% 1st & 2nd dose (fully vaccinated) & ~20% 1st dose only.
OZ Population over 14 year of age is about 20M.

Total jabs: 5.34M
Total PAX with 2 Jabs (est): 0.65M

New guidelines for pregnant women:

"RANZCOG and ATAGI recommend that pregnant women are routinely offered Pfizer mRNA vaccine at any stage of pregnancy," they said in a joint statement."

You might be better to fly to NT or Regional SA.
I think they check there though that you are a resident. I guess I’ll just to hope the state borders reopen soon and stay open or that if a vaccine passport allows one to travel during lockdown that an intention to travel allows one to move up the vaccine queue.

When I made my booking at Olympic Park I had to provide my residential address, so NSW will also know if you are a resident or not.

I know if you receive an exemption to fly overseas you get immediate access to vaccination but not sure of the evidence that is asked for.

Thanks for sharing so much info, really appreciate the content.

Or at least point to where I can find this info, doesn't seem to be directly on COVIDLive.

Thanks champ.

It is on Covidlive. However note that with this table that is estimated from various data (I posted their method earlier in the thread) as the Feds do not release the exact data on a frequent basis. So or some states the data is calculated rather than actual..

Here is the most recent Fed data on first/second doses in Aged Care.

Another death from AZ - panic will be back on :(. My 53 year old friend who is still trying to wangle Pfizer will be over tonight. Be interesting to see his reaction. There will be 3 of us who have had AZ to try and bolster his courage…..

I’m Vic, called at 11am, got through first time and got an appointment for early July. The date comes down to the venue you choose.
Not as many vaccinations as last week, there is clearly availability somewhere in Vic

Vaccinations given on Weds 9th June (reported today).

Per head of population Tas, ACT and NT lead the charge.
After tomorrow in terms of total vaccinations, the largest number of vaccinations will probably have given in Victoria.

I guess WA extended Pfizer to 30+ in an attempt to bolster their numbers.

and also to ensure that vaccines already received are used before expiry date (especially those in normal refrigeration.

In NSW the wait for a Pfizer appointment at Olympic Park for 40-49s (unless you are also 1a, 1b or live in same household as 1a or 1b) is now into October. If they'd just open on Saturday and Sunday for general public we could be smashing this much more.

Extend opening hours. Pretty simple.

Every suburb has a school?

Use the footy oval and then give everyone a snag and coke (like Bunnings) on the way out.
