Are these "hacks" inadvertent or a very clever way of stimulating demand? I suspect the former, but the latter could actually be a clever way of pushing up demand in younger groups.
And this is an example of why we need to be focusing on something other than infections now as our measurement. In the nicest possible way, if a vaccinated person gets it and is asymptomatic (and is 90!!) then why should we all get agitated about the fact that someone has caught it. Only because other people have not been vaccinated - which is why the failures in aged and disability residential care are dreadful and need immediate fixing. As for those who choose not to be vaccinated, then they also assume all associated risks and should not lead to lockdowns etc for their protection that ruin the enjoyment of life for others. Again, this can only apply when people have had the chance to make this choic - but honestly, they started Pfizer for this group in February and it only takes 3 weeks for full vaccination with Pfizer.Reports are that another person has been infected in age care in Vic, this time someone in their 90s who has been fully vaccinated. The person is asymptomatic. These vaccines save lives.
Plus another couple of weeks to achieve maximum immunity. But your point still stands, it’s June now.and it only takes 3 weeks for full vaccination with Pfizer.

How surprising given the number of young males who’ve received Pfizer so far in Australia.Have yet to see any cases of heart issues with Pfizer in Australia, but we are seeing more blood clots from AZ.

I believe that your opinions on AZ and risk are irresponsible
I got my first dose today and afterwards rang up to book the second one. The main number still terminated my call saying it was too busy again, so I called the other number (which I still didn't see on the website, nor was it proffered in the recorded message in the first call this time) - got through and booked.According to the Vic news tonight there is a potential shortage for 2nd doses of Pfizer... not sure what that means for those who have already had their first dose? At the time of vaccination they said the second dose is required 3-6 weeks after the first. Cannot get through to book anything ATM
