Yes, not uncommon (and obviously frustrating). It’s actually been reasonably stable for me for the last couple weeks but I would routinely get variations of this. Sometimes just can’t get the search fields to appear/function. Sometimes just those rolling dots (that don’t time out).Is this normal on Qantas booking website? just no response, and it will never time out (the animated dots indicating waiting for response never stop). If i cancel and try again, i will normally get an obscure errror indicating my browser has been blocked for about 15 mins or so.
I will more likely get this error if searching for Reward flights with both a Domestic and International leg, such as BNE>CGK (via syd or Mel) or reverse.
i get exactly same errors and pattern on 3 different computers, different browsers and also Phone App, and has been going on for a month.
Its cost me the redemption of a journey i didnt want MEL>CGK because i couldnt get a better option, only to get lucky a week later and also redeemed OOL>CGK via SYD despite departing BNE just errored out all the time or not available.
Usually switching browsers (particularly on my iPad) lets me move on.
The other options is to clear browser caches (everywhere) and login in clean (so you get a new 2FA check).
I try and make a point of logging out at the website - it seems to be more stable. Note that this doesn’t then require another 2FA if using the same device/browser combination(s).
