The disgraceful state of the MEL Lounge with no end in sight

Lucky I'm not flying VA from MEL next week, I'll return after my membership year finishes 0n 7 Feb and I need to re-qual. Hopefully they will have sorted out the changes by then

I'm not sure why that's lucky - the expanded lounge is a huge improvement on what was available during the construction period.

I don't find the security much of a problem, but then maybe I fly outside peak times (eg. 8pm flights)
 
It was big and roomy on Thursday afternoon, I like it. The desk has always helped me change flights and are very efficient. Overall I like the new lounge and love the view of the planes!
