The luggage tags work!

Just disembarked from a MEL SYD flight and I was tapped on the shoulder by YQY who gingerly asked "do you post on AFF as I saw your tags". Sadly we didn't get much chance to talk but this was the first time the tags had worked!

I wonder if being tapped on the shoulder and having said do you 'excuse me, i don't suppose you got your status match with Virgin after hearing about it on AFF?' has happened yet (after people see WP bag tags from DJ on said persons bags)?

They're quite distinctive. I don't have one (shameful I know) but I got the briefest glimpse of one attached to a bag going into the overheads by a chap seated next to me last year - AFFer FlyboyAl, whom I had never previously met (nor since for that matter)

Sadly I wouldn't have been able to stop for a drink as the driver was waiting for me outside.

Might be time to reassess the bag tag locations for ease of spotting.

I'm yet to have anybody stop me to ask about my AFF luggage tags. Nor have I seen anybody else with them.

Maybe I have to look harder!

Have them on both my carry-on and checked bags.

I'd be highly offended if someone did that as I have DJ and QF Platinum tags, both of which were obtained with BIS flying!
