The night you want a cranky QF Flight Attendant!

What befuddles me about this incident is that no one did anything at all about the man's behaviour. This includes all the pax who were in the man's vicinity - including the OP - as well as the crew. Well, except for the lady who was then intimidated for the remainder of the flight - bless her soul - and the fact that she was intimidated and no one did anything about it was also rather befuddling.

Lets not forget that this is only 1 side of the coin (no offence to the OP). I usually put my iPod in when situations like this arise and try not to get involved. But, l have been known to step in and make smart a$$ remarks when there are uncomfortable situations, like, 'Do you mind a$$hole?!'. When doing this, speaking in a loud voice and drawing attention to the a$$hole usually shuts them up quick smart. Sit back and watch them go beetroot in about 5 seconds.

What were you afraid of? Him calling you nasty names? Perhaps you getting punched? He could very well have done these to any FA as much as yourself.
Exactly, if he punches you, you punch him back. Simple. I would say that the situation getting into a blue would be very, very slim, like 0.001%. You have a mouth, use it.
