Thanks to the typhoon in HKG, CX upgraded me from business class to a first class suite today on a short flight to TPE!
My friend who is a CLPO (Chairmans lounge platinum one - this is the term used by the inflight CSMs) and who averages 7000 SC per year says his upgrade on DOM is 99% (meaning its usually assured but not guaranteed) and INT upgrade J to F (if F is available) is 70%. He was blocked once because of a famous Boy band who purchased all the non passenger occupied F seatsVirtually unheard of unless WP1 or CL (or both)
