Good Morning fellow members of the AFF Community.

Following discussion with our Social Events Leader to the backdrop of A320's and C172's screaming overhead it has been decided that we shall start a thread where we might talk about planespotting and showcase our general Aviation shots.

I'll begin with a couple of shot's from my last time at OOL With a Camera.

And a couple you may have seen from my trip reports

Always a nice view out the front, If only it wasn't blown out. I don't think Crew's take kindly to flash photography though....

Photobucket seems to have destroyed some of my pictures, I'll look into that....

I'll add some that I took today when I get back from uni... still in my lecture. Unfortunately, my 5D isn't giving the best photos, or maybe it's just me, but I definitely need a new camera body.

I almost wasn't going to take this photo, since I'd taken photos of the other 747's I'd flown on during my trip. But I decided I'd take one last one. Turned out it was my fav photo from the trip...

Good to are some fellow plane spotters about!

That's a great picture harvyk! The 747 is an absolute classic......

I just got a new email alert from empty jets,

For $500 each something like this could be fun at one stage

I have always admired the avgeeks in defence posing as photographers , they do come up with some nice shots:

Absolutely, it seems they get to ride in some amazing aircraft as well!

Nice work! the 777 still remains my favorite type!

Hopefully we'll get something special into OOL in the next couple of months.

Maybe a trip to SYD for spotting at the Mound or the Beach could be in order?

CX, Not a regular visitor to OOL

Spotting this Foxbat at Busselton Aerofest brought back some great memories for me, it's the first and only aircraft I've ever had a hand at actually flying. The one I travelled in Actually had doors though!

Nice work! the 777 still remains my favorite type!

Here here the 777 is a sweet looking girl - but it's not just the look. The sound when those two thumping big 777 engines kick in to send the girl down the runway is pretty cool.

If you are ever in Brisbane and you can make it up to Acacia St. when a 777 is going out on RWY19 you'll know what I mean.

So I've finally got a morning off after working all of Easter and the first thing my 2 year old daughter does is out on her back pack, lead me to the door and ask for "Cessy". I think I've created a little plane spotter!

There's certainly worse places I could be on a beautiful autumn morning in OOL!

Mendoowoorrji was certainly a nice surprise!

There has been talk of an AFF spotting event, any body keen?

Who here has been to the Boeing factory or other aviation museums etc in the lotfap?
