Yes, you are correct. Similar but different props as well

I can't tell you much about it technically but FWIW the aircraft is French Air Force. The captain said the payload was 5t. Endurance 8hrs. I forget the range. He said they use it mostly for paratrooper ops.
 
And the mystery Jetstar propjet in the photo above is probably a Bombardier Q300 (aka a Dash 8)
I can confirm that it is a Q300.
Jetstar in New Zealand have regional flights, introduced late last year.
Aircraft are actually operated by Eastern Australia Airlines, on the VH registry, in fact all JQ aircraft operating in NZ and across the Tasman are VH registered.
