The Share-A-Case Thread

Are there any Sydney CBD AFFs that would like to go halves on the Innocent Bystander Yarra Valley Syrah 2014? It's got 97 points from the Yarra Valley Wine Show (not biased!), and is going for a very respectable $19.90 a bottle (RRP $25), plus $9 delivery charge. That's $123.90 for 6, delivered.

Not this time. But keep me in mind for next year. Not on the same level as you (I'll be starting a Grad position in Syd CBD), but this price and style is something I would definitively be interested in sharing in.

Off to NZ for a couple of months after CFA exam, and then need to sort out a cellaring solution when I get back...hmm.

Pass that CFA with flying colours and hit the ground running on the grad role, and you'll soon be earning more than most of us! Happy to bear you in mind, and there's plenty of us Sydneysiders that work in the CBD who will no doubt go in with you too. I think the Sryah will be a nice mid-week drink on the wind down.

If I get a taker on the share, and you pass your CFA, I will donate you two bottles of the Syrah and also something a little nicer as the celebration gift.

You know I'm barred from wine purchasing until the end of the year!

Ok, I think I can sneak 3 bottles in without suspicion so I'll go in for 3 if you can find another taker for a few bottles.

Thanks Katy. Well that's good enough for a BOOM from me then - 3 for you, 2 for DMnz (if there is exam success!) and 7 for me (and any others that want 1, 2 or 3 bottles). Just let me know good people of Sydney that can pick up in the CBD or the North Shore.

Wow! that is incredibly generous of you. Looking forward to sharing some wines next year.

It's only the Level 1 exam so not too much to cheer about for passing, just another step and wont know until The end of January. Fingers crossed all the same :)

Thanks Katy, I would be happy with up to 6 but whatever you are happy to spare. Just think a full case is more than I need else I would grab a case myself. Cheers Alzoam
 
I managed to land myself another case of the 2012 glenlofty Shiraz if anyone in Sydney is keen to share some, probably don't need 12 so happy to give up 6. It was $9 per bott delivered.
