It looked good, so I searched high and low on the website given to find the total cost and how long it would take. It's an issue a week, and there's 100 issues. I think the first issue is $10.99 as well, so that's 2 years and $1100... a long wait! I'm sure you can get RC F1 cars for less, and quicker ;)

So I was close only 100 issues lol

Have applied a small dose of chocolate as well ...maybe chocolateand sleep??? :)

Everyone should have a small dose of chocolate before they go to bed. It's like money in the bank for me.

I recommend the one with caramel in the middle because its really high in sugar and will sit in the fissures all night :)

Gin is ok. I've had many a big night on it (a friend loves Bombay sapphire so I got suckered into trying it. )

I feel less of a hangover from drinking it than some other spirits.

Before I stopped drinking, gin used to be the only spirit I drank (well, maybe scotch too...). Don't mind it at all!

That reminds me... have some fruit & nut chocolate downstairs :D

Formula looks way to complex for me.

It was much simpler when I was solving it in my head....

Formula scmormula... it's algebra, people!

For whatever it is worth, in a paper of 30 questions, where questions are organised in approximately increasing difficulty from Q1 to Q30, this was Q30 on the Year 9/10 paper, and Q20 on the Year 11/12 paper.

Personally I'm not sure why it still bowled me over even after I finished high school. Mind you, trial and error is not usually the first thing that comes to my mind when solving a problem (though suffice to say the AMC papers were multi-choice, but they penalised you if you answered incorrectly).

Why is ere no crunchy peppermint choclate in this house??

They say peppermint and chocolate is an old fashioned thing. Not implying anything about you, Katie ;)

I think I should make a run for it now.... :p

Don't mind the odd G&T... was chastised when I was last in the UK to only drink quality gin. Now I can't remember what is quality gin.... (I think it basically said airlines don't know it, unless you're flying F)

Problem is that a G&T, prepared vanilla, is like lemonade. Goes down so easily. But too much and, like most alcohol, it'll kick you soon enough harder than a p***ed off pack mule.

Where is my own personal Dobby to fetch such things??

Oh yeah, I'm repsonsible for my own chocolates.

They used to have something called icebreaker in UK it was dark chocolate with peppermint crunchy bits then there was Frys peppermint & after eights. Happy days but not enough reason to move back there

Jaffa cakes & pickled onion monster munch 2 great English products that I miss.

Haven't tried pickled onion monster munch. Have a pack of gentleman's relish (after tony Hancock's recommendation) but still haven't opened it yet.

I'd post you over a box of jaffa cakes but the postage at 7 quid for the 24 pack is a little too much... you can buy them in oz from aldi (their brand) which are a decent enough replica for a Couple of dollars.

Regarding the relish ... the thing I sent through this morning may be a good time to try it ;)

Can't say I've heard of / seen pickled onion monster munch.

They sell them in the English lolly shops over here. Crisps as we called them in UK or chips as you call them over here, they are not really haute cuisine but I love them. Funny what you miss

Will look out for it. Can't say I've seen it, but I am ignorant to some local "delicacies"

Same, same but slightly different.

When I was much younger I was quite good at anything mathematics. Still am in a way but those brain cells have since migrated and I have lost all motivation anyway....

As an engineer by training, I have to be competent at maths.

Don't mind algebra and most of the foundational calculus. However, once we start getting into multivariate calculus, I'm in the weeds.

Still maintain that having good mental maths (or at least estimation skills) is essential. Yes, everyone has a calculator these days, but everyone also has "fat fingers", amongst other silly things we do that lead to an incorrect answer. Answering six multiplied by seven should not require a calculator......

Bookies & old school butchers are pretty good with numbers.
