Methinks that a number of us PUTI on occasions, including me :o (red wine induced)

Sometimes we wonder whether the mods MUTI ;)

Incidentally, "Mutti" (pronounced like MUTI) is German for "Mummy" ;) :p

The automobile driving manual says the average driver’s reaction time is .75 seconds or 1 car length for every 10 mph.
Test your average reaction time. Be careful, this can be addictive! You will be surprised at how slow you really are..

I thought that the dreaded crock-pot was back. What a relief when I checked on Google.

For some of us, the crock-pot never left...

I still use mine frequently.

Now do we need a cooking thread? :p

COC is my favourite

Certificate of Currency? Although that should probably be CoC not COC.

I hate acronyms. Some of the more common ones are OK buf most are just ridiculous.

TT readily comes to mind on AFF. Why is it so difficult to type out Trans-Tasman?

How about TA?

I only got one rating higher than you because I fluked that one sheep was going to leave and hit the tranq as soon as it happened to try to do so. Needless to say, for that single moment, the application thought I was on coffee laced with crack.

COC - Chain Of Custody in my line of work.

TA - TransAdelaide :-)

Trans Atlantic? Travel Agent? Tony Abbott?

Clearly this abbreviation should not be used. Extremely confusing.

The context of TA is usually quite clear from the context it is being used. Unless some sick mind out there actually calls Tony Abbott to do their travel arrangements.

TA is also not a usual abbreviation of Trans-Atlantic - it is TATL. (Even EF parlance abbreviation of Atlantic for routing MPM coding is AT)

Personally due to the possibility of confusion, I spell out Trans-Tasman now rather than use TT, except in a hurry (even if TT doesn't have any Tasman operations). I also use USA or United States of America or United States in order to avoid confusion with American (the carrier) and US (the carrier, both code and name).

Hmmmm... Mr Pushka may not agree on your desire. :p
