I'm getting close to the "Devils Number" of posts-666,since 14 December last year ,not bad IMO but I'm a long way of the 5000 club methinks :!:
Perhaps when I reach 666 I should perform some sort of ritual like throwing salt over my left shoulder? or maybe even book a flight on Tiger Airways.

Good point Bill,
At least if I throw salt over my shoulder I know it will land somewhere predictable unlike Tiger flights to Perth :!::rolleyes:

I didn't realise OWE/OWS doesn't give priority baggage across partner airlines, while *A does. Either way, my dad and sister still managed to get the domestic priority tags on their flight ZQN - SYD this afternoon. Odd. Also managed to snag an exit row on request. He's CX Diamond.

Priority baggage isn't a OW benefit, but I have seen QF being a bit liberal about this, particularly to OWEs and particularly if you line up at premium check-in. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. Only way to guarantee is to be of QF status; even then, priority baggage only works about 75% of the time :-| (at least IME).

Preferred seating, however, is a OW benefit, although I'm not exactly sure what that entails; certainly, obtaining an exit row on request is still a bit rare for a non-QFFer.

Well I'll be hoping to get an exit row next week for my flight out, even though I'm a long way down the chain. Asking at check-in can't hurt.

Well it is time for me to sign off for a week or so as I go into hospital tomorrow for major surgery. I will be in hospital for about a week and then malingering at home and driving my wife nuts ;) for quite a few weeks after that. I’m not allowed to travel for 6-8 weeks after the surgery so I have plenty of time to plan my next adventure. :D Currently that is to NZ for the Hawke’s Bay FT DO but I have a few other thoughts happening that could transpire into something earlier.

You don’t have talk about me too in my absence, though I am sure that the site will manage admirably without my help.

Good luck with everything Bill.

You can give your pedometer to Sue so that she can continue stepping for the GCC.... :)

Get well quickly Bill.

I guess you got 6 to 8 weeks on the internet to drive the rest of us mad. ;)

And thanks for the note that you will be offline for a bit.

All the best bill.
Hopefully that surgery goes better than expected.
However the fact that you are going to be able to be on AFF full time in a week or so will have I am sure a big effect on the time of post 200000 ;)

Bill, Best wishes from Jenny and myself. :D

I hope it all goes well. (You've reminded me I'm overdue for my next test.:-|)
