And yesterday was 12/11/2015 and the numbers add up to 13 so double trouble for some? Doesn't quite explain the luck I had yesterday or is there worse to come?

I took up an Amex offer a few weeks ago to get 6 travel apps FOC.

One was Flightradar24 .... fascinating seeing the numbers flying around the globe.

All the more impressive given these screen grabs are minutes old and a fair chunk of the world is still asleep.

Very expensive PLASMA I purchased many years ago LX508A has the best picture for sport on free TV and HD..... Today I find out that NEW HD of MPEG-4 that may not be compatible with my TV.... May need set to box Christ!!!!!

Can you get the racing channel? If so then that may indicate that you're ok. If not then set top box it is.

Don't see the problem? A 2008 model? Just get a media centre or stb if you need. Or the excuse to get a new tv with Internet capability.

Ha! My 10yo Sony widescreen (10cm thick, weighs a ton, has set- top box) I reckon also has a better picture for sport etc than my more recent Sony HD model.

Interesting days travel.
First started off by throwing a plastic bag full of tea bags etc in my carryon.Didn't check and it had an old knife in it.Went through MCY security and picked up in MEL.
Second.I never trust baggage handlers and even though I have VA interline with Rex I always go down to the baggage carousel and check my bag doesn't come out.Paid off today as it appeared on the carousel.Fail VA.
Third.sitting here in the exclusive Rex gate lounge watching all the TT pax going to their gates.Fellow checking carryons in the sizer.me thinks he was given the wrong lesson-he checks smaller bags and lets large ones through without checking at least 50% of the time.
