Not all the luxury items were to do with myself. The Burberry, The samsonite, the need for USB/Adaptors, the Apple Watch and the Clarins Men's range was my input.
Fashion can be functional and function can be fashionable. Would you necessarily think something functional is ugly? I think the two are not mutually exclusive. =)

In defense of the article, it is titled "Executive Style".
I guess my reaction to the article was, aren't executives who travel regularly more worried about function than fashion? Also I'm not sure how a USB charger can be considered a luxury gadget.
