Cheaper than buying a knife if you are away from home

The days before eftpos, remember seeing many a person with a calculator adding as they went.... or the shopper at the checkout saying take that out... now sub total... okay take that out until they got to the cash amount they had on them

I put everything on CC - literally everything! I have a big limit on the CC. I carry about $5 in cash in case I need to use it. I pay the card balance out in full every month.

Like a good frequent flyer... I pay using card whenever possible. (AmEx is always the preference, then Visa if I have to). Cash tends to be a last resort, or for small transactions, or dodgey places.

All credit cards are always paid in full every month. I don't buy something if I can't afford it**.

I really need to workout how to use Gumtree. Have some things I would like to sell.
