I have a political joke, but it isn't appropriate for polite company...
I've known a few political jokes.But then they go and get elected.

LOL. Liked that. All at sea with autocorrect!Unless you're a sailor.
Refer to previous: you need a better bottle of Red!Oh no you don't! My brain is stretched enough just trying to get through work tonight. That maths thing already fried most of my synapses. No more puzzles for me.
F should be 5.I think: 1=A: 4=B: 8=C: 12=D: 17=E : 15=F: 16=G: 21=H: 18=I.
But I would be happy for someone to double check my working.

F should be 5.
I couldn't agree more.
And after switching to the full site I just noticed your signature !! Awesome quote and awesome guy. I heard him
speak at our leadership forum last year and it was inspirational !
Morrison admits the speech ['get out...'] wasn’t entirely written by him and on the ABC Q&A program he admitted the most quoted line, “The standard you walk past is the standard you accept” was borrowed from then defence force chief and now NSW governor David Hurley.
Thank you for the information. Signature amended.... except it wasn't his line ...
JT may need to amend her signature .
Came across this puzzle in Reader's Digest:
Each letter from A to I stands for one of the nine numbers listed in the table below.
No two letters have the same numerical value.
Match each letter to a number to make the following equations work.
Number list:
1 4 5
8 12 16
17 18 21
F = A + B F is 5
C = B + B =2B So C is 8
D = B + C= B+2B=3B B can only be 4, D is 12
G = B + D=B+3B=4B G is 16
I = A + E=A+A+4B=2A+4B=2A+16 I is 18
E = D + F=3B+A+B=A+4B=A+16 A is 1, E is 17
H = F + G=A+B+4B=A+5B=A+20 H is 21
What about this then?
Took me a lot less thanks that, even after a bottle of red. But I would say that wouldn't I.Yep, took me 30 seconds to work it out using medhead's method.

That was quite a complex problem. Took me just on 2 minutes and now stressing.Came across this puzzle in Reader's Digest:

Actually it's a trivial substitution problem.That was quite a complex problem. Took me just on 2 minutes and now stressing.
I wonder how many we have here in the Australian government payroll as well
Trivial for you. Most people struggle to add 2 numbers together such as 87 + 54. This was way more complex.Actually it's a trivial substitution problem.
