ok, I'm a bit slow... I don't get this... won't the same thing happen any time December begins on a Thursday? like 2022... there are five Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays? where's the 823 years come in?
 
Well, after the stressful process of selling the parental abode, it's now time to get our own place on the market and get serious about upgrading to a "proper" family home.

Life refuses to stand still.
 
A polite ask that this thread reverts back to being the OT thread. (I don't have time at the moment to pull it apart)

Also noted that several people who are reporting the thread are also in there fanning the flames. (???)

Its ok. I currently dislike ALL politicians. I don't care about their politics. Any of it. :eek:
 
We are still in WA after AFF#10. It was 38 degrees when we left Perth on Tues. Yesterday it was 13 degrees in Manjimup. How do you plan clothes for that ?

I have removed the offending on-topic discussion from the off-topic thread. Note this is done with no political bias or leaning or intention to take side.
 
Shall repost the Euthanasia thing as it's a conscience issue. This morning at 4am SA almost became the first state to legalize medically supervised euthanasia. It was defeated when the speaker voted to break the deadlock. So close.
 
Sometimes I'm not sure what is OT for the OT thread! :)

I am, however, greatly disappointed that I'm not at Coffs Harbour for this years running of Rally Australia... :(

MEL_Traveller - I got this trivia from Mrs V, who in turn got it texted to her from a (usually sober) friend. As Cruiser Elite has already pointed out, it's not accurate so I obviously should have fact checked it (not that I know how to check the 823 years thing quickly). Being "trivia" I assumed some mathematician with way too much time on their hands worked it out but clearly I was wrong and now I'm not inclined to waste any more time trying to make sense of it all. Sorry that it wasted your time as well.

Reminds me of my last trip to New York. 24 degrees on arrival then the nest day a top of 5.. And the day after that, 1!
