The totally off-topic thread

This is Todd. Todd retired in July and he, his wife and their incredibly upset child, Rasputian, have been travelling the world since.

Todd should spend a little less time talking about himself and his wife less time on the phone, to tend to their screaming 4yr that is very upset. Apparently shoving a screaming child in the kids play area so mommy and daddy can have adult time doesn't work.

Don't be a Todd

Staff just made a very loud announcement.

This area is for priority only boarding, half the seating area just moved.

At the risk of starting a subthread that will be split off, if you were about to face a maths or science test, which of the following kinds of tests would you prefer?
  • No calculators, no formula sheet
  • Calculators allowed, no formula sheet
  • Calculators allowed, personally prepared crib sheet allowed
  • Calculators allowed, formula sheet supplied
The idea, of course, is that as you select one of the options lower in the list, the problems on the test would be assumed to be more difficult conceptually. Still, which would you choose?

or
e.Calculators supplied, formula sheet supplied (no BYO)

I would choose e.

Ever have one of those days where you just can't get going? You're brain won't operate on higher levels, lacking any sort of energy, tough to maintain verticality, and even the eyes don't wanna work for you.

I thought The EY lounge in Sydney would be better. Is there a secret, impressive room im missing?
A case of people talking up a lounge again?

I'm visiting the SYD F lounge again on Sunday. That should excite me for ~45 minutes. Or I can try 2 meals and come in a little earlier. Shame there's no Krug.

We could be twins. I dragged myself out of bed at 8am and certainly did not hustle to get to work, could not motivate myself to do anything on my list for the day and was even told I looked tired and bloodshot!

Sounds like a normal day for me....

Morning, have you had your thyroid checked?
Happy Travels. John.

Greetings from Atlanta. Currently sitting on the Delta sky deck, watching a lady with a very nice LV handbag, nice because it doesn't scream LV, put away her 3rd martini. Hopefully she'll be OK for her flight.

VA flight was very good. Lax transfer sucked donkey's balls and we almost didn't make the connecting.

Now a 5hr layover. Had hot shower and just waiting, although I might check out the Coach and MK store.
