A wet race at Bathurst. Quarter race gone and no safety car. Shows that Supercar drivers can drive to the conditions (so long as the red mist doesn't descend).

To win the race, first you have to finish it.

Is anyone reading “Dirty John” in the Los Angeles Times? I just read the fifth of six installments and a John sure is creepy.
So you got me wondering what it is about. Now have read 5 episodes.darn you Cove!o_O:eek::p:confused:

M4 has a toll again?

Apparently started 15 August 2017 from Homebush to Parramatta. Used it 2 weeks ago to go to golf and missed the TOLL signs as I've been used to the motorway without tolls. Used it again today and on the way back saw the signs about not paying tolls.

$4.56 for 7.5km of existing motorway is highway robbery. How much is the administration fee?

I'll just go back to using Parramatta Road until Church St and then free M4 Motorway as I used to in the past.

I heard about this a couple of months ago. I don't think it's very fair either but it's typical of what is happening with improvements to freeways. They no longer can be called freeways. There were claims that the road had been widened and improved and the tolls were paying for this. Much the same thing happened in Melbourne with the existing stretch of the Tullamarine freeway. Once citilink was built a major part of the south end of the original freeway became a tollway. I haven't used it since, except when I've been a passenger with friends.

JohnK you might want to get some Transurban shares. Not financial.........
Sorry drron for getting you reading “DirtyJohn” . Mrscove is reading it too.

I don't think my husband thought it was possible to put paper towels on a paper towel holder (as per photo sample) the wrong way until he got married. He still gets it wrong occasionally.

Yes. In my kitchen, I pull paper towels, left to right, so the photo above is incorrect installation.

Strangely, he thinks I over think it. He would be wrong.

Power read through one, and it seems to be going a certain way. As these stories often do.

On a side note, the Times (LA & NY) digital teams often do some amazing stuff with their long-form features.

You have a thingy to put the paper towel on???? Mine just lives free under the sink and on the laundry shelf. :)

I am with you Denali.

And toilet paper should come off the roll to the back, not the front.

I'm watching TV and a mum is teaching their adult, married, soon to be a dad son how to slice a tomato.

If you have to teach your 20+yr kid how to cut fruit/veggies, you've failed as a parent.
