No and you should not. You can't escape the issue by trying to blame others. Don't be a Mathias and just give a political answer. Address the specific question of the behaviour of the soon to be Acting PM.
Tony Burke.

You admit to watching that carp? I’m home alone too. Watching the end of some soapie and waiting for MKR. :D

The choice is idiots who cant cook, idiots that should give more thought to what marriage means, hasbeens in the jungle, or crazy reno shows on the Life channel :)
Luckily I am flying to Tassie tomorrow :D for a week of R&R

Seems I have opened a little can of worms here so to finish it off. I can, but won’t, quote examples that run the other way.

There are plenty in both directions if people take off their blinkers and actually sit and look at them.

You first! There are so many examples of improper behaviour on the other side that predates BJ

Let’s move in from the politics as people are never going to agree.

Having said that it would also be good if some people would stop putting words in the mouths of others.

Isn’t that blaming others rather than taking responsibility?

Burke affair ignored by the mainstream press, ignored by his party even though basically identical to the Barnaby situation.
Affair with staffer whilst still married.Flew her First class around the world on taxpayers money. Now his wife.Still on the front bench.

Barnaby everyone after blood but his own party rumoured to about to tap him on the shoulder to resign and liberals publicly saying he should.
So one side appears to be taking action, the other not so much.

Reading #beetrooter tweeter is interesting, someone spending time cross referencing dates, photos and expense claims.

Edit. Meanwhile, there is a poor midwife in England wondering why her #beetrooter has just taken off.

A lot of evenings I read in bed/stretch my back because I just can't sit for TV. Been sitting all day!
yes it’s a problem isn’t it - I know I used to get back problems - particularly my posture when sitting at a desk was terrible.

We had become terrible with TV - would buy a series and watch 6 episodes a night. A few years ago we made a pact to only watch 1 hour a day, no matter how much we wanted to see what happened. I get into bed with the dogs and read until Mr FM comes to bed (he’s usually playing with his photographs), then we evict the dogs and read some more. I have 3 books on the go at the moment :)

I have an interest due to MissQS just missing out on selection and also conflicted because I don't agree with the the massive taxpayer largesse leaving monuments to the IOC rotting from previous Olympics.

I am waiting for ice hockey for a bit of biffo
The ice dancing and figure skating is excruciating.
The curling is a little bit more cerebral

What I don't comprehend is why the medal for the 50km cross country (which takes 2 hours) the same size as say the moguls which is a 25 second race.

Why didnt' the London Summer Olympics have Darts as a sport?

I love the ice dancing and figure skating. Can’t imagine possessing the flexibility, strength and grace to execute it.

There is a tassie couple on tonight whose family started Australia’s first truffle farm. And they can cook!

Let’s not get into politics. None of them are worth our collective angst.

Must be the night for us ladies to be home alone, and for the next 2 nights. Binge watching Grace and Frankie.
I just got home from a meeting. I am having the last glass out of a bottle of Perrier Jouët whilst watching people slide downhill in a moderately controlled fashion.

Happy.

Given the recent conversation here about Goldfield House - seems that (or rather the construction site) is what went up in flames this morning.
