Yes they do but the bottle of water you just took from lounge gets confiscated at the gate. What a silly rule.BKK has hot & cold drinking water dispensers dotted around airside.

Because security checkpoint is at the gate?Yes they do but the bottle of water you just took from lounge gets confiscated at the gate. What a silly rule.
Yes for some flights.Because security checkpoint is at the gate?
Yes it's expensive but it is the large bottle and it has that stupid pull out drink bit on the top. The Twitter poster is out to get lots of comments. The ones next to it were much less (but yes still very expensive for what it is). I hardly ever buy plain bottled water anyway when out.Disgusting:
Shock over ridiculous water bottle price. Everyone knows that food and drink prices at airports are usually more expensive.
Most of us have come to accept that you are going to pay a couple of extra dollars for your morning coffee and croissant.
But how much would you pay for a bottle of water? $3? $4? Maybe you would even hand over $5 if you were really thirsty.
Well Tom Joyner uploaded a photo to Twitter showing that a bottle of water at Sydney Airport is going to set you back a hefty $9.17.

Same thing happens at pre-board security at DXB.Because security checkpoint is at the gate?
SYD?Where to fill or where to get the bottle?
Most of the airports have bottle fill stations (at least MEL does).
There's drinking water available in T2/T3. From memory I have also seen drinking water available in T1 near the gates.SYD?

It’s quite awful watching the lava move through neighbourhoods.Just saw further volcanic eruptions on the Big Island in Hawaii.
So sad to see this when we had one of our best family holidays there.
Oh. Fingers crossed then. Plan B?Less than four weeks till we head to the Big Island...
People are renting their properties out for single nights?
I can understand Sydney harbour mansions for events but shacks in the burbs?

Of course, MEL is one of the few cities where I'd be happy to fill my bottle from the normal tap water - unless there's a filtration system. Coming from MEL, I find the water in a lot of cities pretty gross because ours is nirvana.I know MEL has taps especially for filling bottles.
No argument. It's a fact.Pursuit of perfection in golf is an individual thing.
Although some would argue, “golf is a good walk spoiled”.
I think I’d call triple 0 and say you thought you heard a sound like gun shot. Then the police could do something.Air BnB at its best. Lots of these party houses are ending in expensive costs for the owners.
Former Prime Minister Bob Hawke has been admitted to hospital in Sydney, according to reports.
Fairfax Media understands the 88-year-old former Labor leader is in Royal North Shore Hospital. It's unclear at this stage why he was admitted.
