Disgusting:

Shock over ridiculous water bottle price. Everyone knows that food and drink prices at airports are usually more expensive.
Most of us have come to accept that you are going to pay a couple of extra dollars for your morning coffee and croissant.
But how much would you pay for a bottle of water? $3? $4? Maybe you would even hand over $5 if you were really thirsty.
Well Tom Joyner uploaded a photo to Twitter showing that a bottle of water at Sydney Airport is going to set you back a hefty $9.17.

RUSH HOUR: Shocking airport water bottle price

Yes it's expensive but it is the large bottle and it has that stupid pull out drink bit on the top. The Twitter poster is out to get lots of comments. The ones next to it were much less (but yes still very expensive for what it is). I hardly ever buy plain bottled water anyway when out.

Just saw further volcanic eruptions on the Big Island in Hawaii.
So sad to see this when we had one of our best family holidays there.

It’s quite awful watching the lava move through neighbourhoods.

People are renting their properties out for single nights?

I can understand Sydney harbour mansions for events but shacks in the burbs?

Air BnB at its best. Lots of these party houses are ending in expensive costs for the owners.

I know MEL has taps especially for filling bottles.
Of course, MEL is one of the few cities where I'd be happy to fill my bottle from the normal tap water - unless there's a filtration system. Coming from MEL, I find the water in a lot of cities pretty gross because ours is nirvana.

Pursuit of perfection in golf is an individual thing.
Although some would argue, “golf is a good walk spoiled”.
No argument. It's a fact.

Incidentally 25% of the previous page are posts mentioning a 1.68 inch, uncontrollable 1.62 oz ball. Isn't that really disproportionate for FF forum? (Even in an OTT)

I think I’d call triple 0 and say you thought you heard a sound like gun shot. Then the police could do something.
