PF you are taking too many clothes ! Leave 1 dress, 2 jeans/pants, and 2 of the cardis at home ! Leaves more room for the purchases

No sightseeing today, have just returned from Woodbury Commons, pretty amazing shopping. Could hardly carry all the bags through Times Square from the bus terminal. Definitely need that extra suitcase now :D
Tomorrow afternoon I hit 5th Ave, hope the credit card's up to it ;)

I love Woodbury Commons - that is one great outlet mall ! We always have lunch at the italian restaurant - they do great garlic mussels ( washed down with a glass of vino )

As to 5th Ave - Lord and Taylor is my favorite shop, but then again a little trinket from Tiffanys will always put a smile on my face

It also helps that the Positano restaurant at Woodbury gets you AA dining miles. And a Hampton Inn next door for a mattress run!

That's exactly what I had for my very late lunch, missed out on the AA miles as I didn't know about that.
After 5th Ave tomorrow I'm hitting the two B's : Barneys and Bloomies. Think I need some more shoes

And don't forget you can ask for a 10% discount from Macy's. I availed myself of this when in Seattle earlier this year.

Some shocking driving throughout the race.

Webber might get 3rd. Red Bull looks like they are protesting something on Schumacher's car.

Yes, I have at least 10 different outfits. Three dresses, 4 pairs of jeans/pants, 6 tops, 3 cardigans, 4 scarfs, two belts, shoes. Plus the outfit and heels I'm wearing to travel.
Also have swimmers, undies,PJ's, hairdryer, GHD's and non-lag make-up in there.
That little Samsonite is like the
Tardis.
I don't think I'll want to have checked luggage again
Oh my goodness Princess Fiona. Hats hair and even heads off to you. What a sterling packing effort......Have just come home from three and a half weeks travelling in France and the UK and my case was 23ks BEFORE I left. Stupid. and I swear I tried to be ruthless. I'll have to go and revisit that thread where the lads were competing to use carryon only and see how little they could actually get away with! I'd skimmed the posts for pointers and thought I was going well. Thank heavens for business baggage allowance! Happy shopping, please fill us in on the results thereof

*sigh* what are you supposed to do, when your boss assigns a role to you, an ongoing role that needs to happen from now until perpetuity, that you have absolutely no interest or desire to do, and then get told that its supposed to take up 50% of your time...the only saving grace is that it may involve quite a bit of domestic travel, and meetings where you just sit and do nothing...

Life's too short. I would rather go back to my old job cleaning pan rooms in a hospital, at least I kept the place spotless.

Found his mobile phone in his hands and his head in the back seat

Isn't TEXT-ING FUN?????

Rookie question, but your statement doesn't make it clear who screwed up.

Guess you could say it must be the driver of the car. After all, he's dead now.

Rookie?

Should I be worried about hitching a ride with you to the mid-year do this weekend? :p:p

You didn't read the waiver before committing, didn't you? :p

The only reason I asked was that the picture could've been a combination of a reckless truck driver and / or a driver who wasn't looking (or didn't think to act fast enough to get out of the way). The text could also apply to either driver (i.e. both of them could've been holding a mobile and caused the accident).

From what it seems reasonable, the car driver didn't notice a reversing truck because he was texting on his phone and the truck didn't notice until he completely ran over the front of the car.

must have been reversing really quickly then

where did the photo come from?

Finally managed to pack all the bargains

I also bought a 28 inch Delsey roller duffle bag 60% off at the Bloomingdales sale to pack it all in.
Reasonably confident that my allowance on QF coupled with the DJ allowance for my connecting flight in BNE will be all good ;)

Hmmm, not sure I've ever seen A&F and "bargains" all in the same sentence before
