So do I get an upgrade (of my forum status) when I get to 100 posts? ;)

Mind you, to be "junior" anything at my age is quite wonderful.

For those buying the Courier Mail today, there should be a story about me (and photo). Time to buy it and find the article

I have flown to QLD and purchased The Courier Mail.......but I can't find the article about you. I may seek funds from you to cover my costs. :p

Couldn't find it by a quick skim through. Unless it was in the Cars guide??? Even looked at the apprt end of the paper in case.

I think LW has shares in News Limited and just wanted us to buy the paper :)

From a user comment on a news.com.au article on seat selection (but that bit is irrelevant):

@Captain Bear of 30 000ft - you do realise that it is YOU who has to retain your Platinum status? Qantas could care less if you were downgraded to Bronze. Trust me.

Now this has been irking me for some time. Don't they mean Qantas couldn't care less? As in Qantas don't care? I have noticed this phrasing, in particular from our seppo cousins, creeping into the vernacular more and more in recent years. And it bugs me!

The journalist and photographer advised me the article was going to be in todays paper - looks like they were wrong. Now to look at tomorrows.

It's an article on cancer, with a photo of me with my kids - either will be us staring out of a playhouse or us sitting round my sons' big reg car.

I cannot believe that Mitchell Johnson's name is mentioned in the media as a possible recall to the Australian team.

Got to ask that journalist whether she missed the cut off for articles in the weekend Courier Mails - it was already written and I had proofed it. Maybe it was the 300 photos that were taken - too many good photos of the kids they couldn't decide which one??

As for the First Test, thanks for the reminder - I need to do my thread.

Too hard to pick this year...Dunaden was easy last year!

Also looks like QF have done some shuffling with aircraft on transcon flights in the past day or so. Downgraded to 737 for one flight :( (oh well, i'll just hope for one with seatback IFE!)

Over here Tuesday's race is between 2 legged competitors!
Santa Anita's big race was 2 nights ago.

Does anyone know where I can buy kids NZRU Jersey's in Perth? None of the sports stores have any left, nor will they before Xmas it seems. Tried the Adidas outlet in Harbour Town. Even tried the Canterbury store, no joy.

Didn't want to buy them online as I want to physically see the kids sizes!
