Drove to Robertson this morning.At 0945 it was 15C.Tried to find the Famous Robertson Pie shop.decided I had gone far enough in the fog.Saw some bitumen on the side of the road-thought this is as good a place as any to do a U-turn.Turned out to be the parking area of said pie shop./

Were you missing the US cold so much already? BTW I did the same as you when looking for the pie shop.

As a motor bike rider, the Robertson Pie Shop was a regular haunt when I was living in Sydney. Coupled with a blast up/down Macquarie Pass..... talk about flying platinum

I like to do MacQuarie Pass in my WRX, but really miss the roads in the Hills around Radelaide - used to live in Coromandel Valley.

I'm not so sure.

I'd have thought you need to close the windows and pull down the blinds to keep the heat out, until the peak has passed.
